TAB Technologies, LLC is NEBB certified in Air and Hydronic balancing as well as HVAC and Plumbing Commissioning.   We are also members and active participants in the Building Commissioning Association, the Energy Services Coalition, the AGC, IEST, and ASHRAE.  Our president, Glenn See, has been the National Environmental Balancing Bureau’s (NEBB) Chapter Affairs Committee Chairman since 2014 and also a member of the NEBBs Board of Directors since 2015.  He was also the Technical Committee Chair on the Texas NEBB Board and maintained a position on Austin ASHRAE’s Board of Governors from 2002 to 2013.  Tyler Lewis, our Operations Manager in Austin, is a Professional Engineer (License #102205).  He is also a member of ASHRAE (2008 to present) and has sat on the Technical Committee (Vice-chair 2010-2012, Chair 2013-2015 and Professional Development Committee 2016-Present).

As we are headquartered in Austin (since 2002), with offices in Dallas (2007), Waco (2010), and Houston (2014), the majority of our projects have been completed inside of Texas; however we have also completed major projects in Maryland, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, Mexico and Costa Rica.  We have completed and continue to seek major projects in the semiconductor, healthcare, pharmaceutical, education and hospitality industries.  Our workforce averages between 35-40 employees.

As a result of our technical competence and the personal commitment of our employees, we are able to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations for communication, on time completion of our work, and timely preparation of the final documentation.  Our staff takes pride in working closely with all members of the construction team.  It is our intent to maintain a high level of communications with field personnel from the mechanical, electrical and controls contractors and keep them apprised of our schedule and needs.  Additionally we make a concerted effort to develop relationships with general contractors, owners, and engineers.  Our efforts have paid off time and again through successful projects that were not sidetracked by challenges inherent to the construction industry that so often have a major impact on schedule and cost.  It is not our policy to issue a punch list and wait patiently for a response; rather we try to be proactive in the maintenance of the construction schedule. All of our technicians work with iPads with Bluebeam and PlanGrid, and issue daily reports and punch lists on a daily basis.

Our management experience is deep in years and knowledge; Glenn See (President) – 22 years, Tyler Lewis, PE (Division Manager – Austin) – 15 years, Ricky Ringer (Division Manager – Waco) – 37 years, Billy Owen (Division Manager – Houston) – 31 years, Nicole Agpawa (Division Manager – Dallas) – 15 years.  We’ve seen every type of system imaginable (and some you can’t imagine), and solved problems on all of them.
